We Are Marked

Shalom!!!
I was watching a movie this afternoon, Shepherd of the Hills.  It is an old movie but it has a great message.  Plus who doesn’t like John Wayne.  Any way, I have seen this movie at least 20 times and today I heard something I have never heard before in this movie.  The line that Betty Field, who plays Sammy, says is “Must be the Lord marks folks to favor a purpose.”  When she said that it went through me like a hot poker Wow.  That was such a true statement.  The word says that we are marked my God.  Ezekiel 9:4-6 says 4and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”  5To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. 6Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.  We have been marked by God.  Not only marked but also sealed.  The word says in II Corinthians 1:21-22 “21Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.   Not only marked and sealed but with a guarantee.  To me that is amazing. When I was growing I heard about the mark of the beast a lot.  Well of course I grew up in fear.  So as you grow in the Lord you realize that every thing the enemy has is just counterfeit for what God has.  So with us being marked he can not get us where we live and have our being if we give him no place. (Ephesians 4:27)  So we are marked to favor a purpose.  God has given us each a calling.  We just need to seek Him to hear what His will is for our life.  We all have purpose. We have all been given purpose.  So don’t let the enemy tell you that you don’t have purpose or that you are not worthy or any thing like that.  We know that the devil is a liar. (John 8:44) So now that we know we have purpose and we are marked and sealed then the enemy can’t take it from us. When we find out what our calling is then we can study to show ourselves approved and as we decrease He will increase in our lives and life will be amazing.  So let us not fear any longer but grow in faith and know God’s got this and us.

Shalom,

I want to start my blog again with a knowing.  A knowing of who we are in Jesus.  I hear so many of my brothers and sisters talking about how bad they are.  How dumb they are because they can’t do anything right or how useless or worthless they are.  Well I am here to tell you this is not true.  God created us and He makes no mistakes.  When you become born again, you are born into the kingdom of God.  This is something you already know or you should.  Now the word says we are not of this world but we have to live in it.  Read John 15. Then read Romans 8:8-9.  Because of the blood of Jesus, He has made us worthy and our righteousness is of Him.  So we must understand who we are in Jesus so we do not give place to the enemy.  I am going to add something I found on Facebook and it was so awesome to me I want to share it with you.  Here it is:  I am…

I am complete in Him Who is the Head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10).

I am alive with Christ ( Ephesians 2:5)
I am born of God, and the evil one does not touch me (I John 5:18)
I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 2:5)
I am holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4; I Peter 1:16)
I am free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)
I am a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
I am a spirit being alive to God (Romans 6:11;1 Thessalonians 5:23).
I am a believer, and the light of the Gospel shines in my mind (2 Corinthians 4:4).
I am a doer of the Word and blessed in my actions (James 1:22,25).
I am a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17).
I am more than a conqueror through Him Who loves me (Romans 8:37).
I am an over comer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11).
I am a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:3-4).
I am an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
I am part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people (1 Peter 2:9).
I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21).
I am the temple of the Holy Spirit; I am not my own (1 Corinthians 6:19).
I am the head and not the tail; I am above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13).
In case you were wondering, THIS IS WHO YOU ARE. Don’t let anyone tell you any different…

Please if you can print this off and read it everyday because this is who you are.  God loves us and we are all special to Him so let us be who we are in Jesus.  The cost of who we are today was the biggest price that has ever been paid and He did it in great Love.  So let us walk knowing who we are because of the cost.   He thinks we are worth it .

Hello everyone and grace to all
It has been a long time since I have posted anything.  I believe it has been since April of 2009. Well this is April of 2014 and it has been 5 years.  Well that is almost prophetic. 5 is symbolic of Grace.  I have gone through so much and I will not bore you with the details but I just want you to know that God is good.  He never left me not for 1 second.  He was by my side the whole time. And in all my tribulation I received so much revelation about our Father that is why I am blogging again. I was so blessed to be able to write a word of Shalom in our bulletin but the Father has released me from that so I thought I would post on here again.  So this is just to let you know that I am back.  Thank you Jesus.  I will be posting more so stay tuned.

Love to all
